Creating a more sustainable dining experience for Norse Atlantic
Challenge
As part of an effort to enhance its Premium cabin experience, Norse Atlantic Airways wanted to introduce more sustainable dining solutions without compromising on quality, functionality or passenger experience.
Solution
Working closely with Norse Atlantic Airways, deSter developed a tableware concept centered around renewable and reusable materials. The new setup combines wet-molded fiber casseroles, bowls and lids with bamboo cutlery, a reusable tray and a paper cup free from plastic components.
The solution was designed to reduce the environmental impact of onboard dining while maintaining the premium presentation expected by passengers.
